Recycled Crayons

In preparation for home school starting in a couple of days, I have
been cleaning out the craft closet. The crayon box has gotten
slightly out of control… Broken pieces…slightly melted crayons…
well loved, well used. I want my monkeys to have a great school
experience. I want to pamper them and make a big deal about it so I
decided to get them each a new box of crayons!

So…what to do with the old crayons? We decided to recycle them.

1. Line a muffin tin with cupcake paper (you might want to double
up)

2. Remove all excess paper from old crayons, break them up and fill
up muffin cups.

3. Add a little Florida sunshine (or stick in the oven at 200 for about
45 minutes).

4. Let them cool until hard, remove paper and have fun!
