Grand Opening of Ninja Mom Designs- SALE

grand opening

I have recently opened a new etsy shop. My previous shop is still up and running, but I wanted to have a place to sell my digital prints, clip art, etc. Ninja mom cever 2

I’m sharing this with you for two reasons.

1. I am really excited about this shop. I love learning new things. I’ve recently learned how to make printables for homeschool and now I can make my own clip art for those printables! I need a hobby and designing digital art/ clip art provides a great outlet for this mama.  I also really enjoy being able to contribute to our family financially… even if it’s just in small way.

2. Our church is sending a team of missionaries to Haiti this summer. Haiti is near and dear to my heart as is missions and this team of ladies that are heading out! I am donating a BIG portion of profits from Ninja Mom Designs through March to the team to help cover their expenses for the trip. I’d love for you to join with me in supporting them by purchasing from the shop.

Included in the shop are:

Clip Art

Personalized Name Prints

Keep Calm and…

Quotable Quotes

Alphabet Prints

If there is something specific you are looking for, let me know and we can work together to make it happen.

Here’s some great news! To celebrate the opening of the store, I am offering a Buy One Get One sale!!!! When you check out, send me a note letting me know which print/ item you’d like as your freebie (it needs to be of equal or less value than your purchase).

Check out some samples of what’s in the shop:  Star Wars ABC 2Keep Caml Build On 2

Thanks for helping me celebrate this grand opening of Ninja Mom Designs!!!

Etsy-ing With a Purpose (14)

This past year, we have gotten to a know a sweet family… fellow seminarians with three adorable little girls. They recently felt burdened to look into the possibility of international adoption. The more they looked into it and the more they prayed, the more they felt the Lord’s leading to begin the process of adoption. They went through a local agency that works with Ethiopian adoptions. They have now been approved to adopt two precious baby boys in Ethiopia.

They still have a few more hurdles to jump over before the boys can become officially theirs and before they can bring them home. There is paper work and court hearings among other things. They are currently raising money to cover the cost of the adoption. You can read more about their story and current needs on their blog.

I have really struggled since we have been in seminary and on a tight budget with how I can be a cheerful giver. I have had to realize that giving doesn’t always have to be dollars and cents. I can give of my time, talents and resources. I really enjoy crafting. I love to knit, crochet, and sew.

Where am I going with all of this? Well.. I have offered to donate a portion of proceeds from my etsy shop to this sweet family. So… for the rest of the month of April, any time a purchase is made, 40 % will go toward helping bring those babies home!

I just added some new items to the shop and will probably be adding more soon:

 Hair Clip Organizer
 Hair Accessories
 Hot/ Cold All Natural Packs
Crochet Dolls and Toys
James 1:27 Exhorts us to care for the orphans and widows. We don’t feel the call to adoption (at this time in our lives), but we can come along side those who do. Please consider stopping by the shop and helping out!
